Fall 2020 Tentative Start Plan for Community Review as Discussed at July 27, 2020 Board Meeting

Clarification for 2020/2021 School Year

Good day Crestwood community,

A recurring question that has come up in reference to choosing either 100% online instruction or face-to-face instruction is in reference to what if we as a State go to Phase 5.

Because we are currently in Phase 4, we are trying to accommodate and support as much as possible through providing an option. This is the purpose of the survey.

A change in phases will impact our direction, therefore:

  • If we go to Phase 3, we as a School District have to go to 100% Online for everyone.
  • If we go to Phase 5, we as a School District will go back to Face-to-Face Instruction.

So no matter the choice you decide, going to Phase 3 or Phase 5 will force us as a District to make the adjustment as required.

I hope this clarifies some questions or concerns on what the future may hold. Although, it is sad to say, everything that has happened has been unexpected and therefore we cannot predict what will happen next.
