Science Club

Mission Statement

The Crestwood Science Club is committed to extending the science experiences of current and past Advanced Placement Environmental Science students. Members of this organization are actively involved in environmental research, participate in science symposia, develop and implement environmentally themed service learning projects, and participate in field trips. This club is also a strong supporter of the hands-on instruction of science at our high school and other district schools and raises funds to support classroom and research activities.

Our science department and the science club have been affiliated with the GLOBE Program since 1995 and have been actively collecting local data and submitting it to a database that is accessed and used by researchers worldwide to help monitor and research the surface of our planet. We just celebrated our 25th year of involvement with this worldwide environmental science outreach program in 2020.
