CHS Athletic Department Covid-19 Response Guidelines
This is the attempt to simplify the information from the various sources for the requirement of athletics. It is a living document that may be updated as we proceed having competitions through the pandemic. All participants are responsible for being aware of and knowing the current MHSAA and MDHHS guidelines and regulations regarding Covid-19 procedures. Participants refer to all athletes, coaches, officials, necessary team or district personnel.

- Each athlete should have his/her own personal and identified water bottle or container that is not to be shared.
- Athletes, coaches and officials, will be screened and have their temperature checked upon entering the practice or facility.
- Coaches are responsible for documenting and saving screening forms and temperature checks for practices. These will be given to the Athletic Director.
- If any participant answers the screening questions indicating they may have a symptom, or have a temperature above 100.3 degrees, that person will immediately be put into a separate area and a parent/guardian will be notified and arrangements made for the individual to be removed from the premises, or if it is a coach or official, that person will not be allowed to participate in the event. Testing for Covid-19 is recommended.
- If anyone who has been a participant in an event at Crestwood tests positive for Covid-19, they must contact Crestwood Administration as soon as possible.
