Crestwood Community Parent Sessions start this Wed!
The Crestwood School District is excited to invite all families to our Crestwood Community Parent Sessions, a series of free events designed to connect families with helpful resources, support, and each other throughout the school year.
Our first session will take place this Wednesday, September 24th from 4:00–5:00 PM at the Crestwood School District Board Office. This session will focus on Newcomers & English Learner (EL) Support and will provide valuable information, strategies, and resources to help families support their students at home and at school.
These sessions are a wonderful opportunity to:
Connect with other families in the Crestwood community
Learn more about supports and services available within our schools
Build relationships with staff and district leaders
Future sessions this year will include topics such as Special Education Basics & IEPs, PBIS & Restorative Practices, Autism Awareness, and more. If you have any questions, please reach out to:
Dr. Pollack at rpollack@csdmi.org
or
Mrs. Schankowski at aschankowski@csdmi.org
We hope to see you there as we kick off this year’s parent sessions together!
