If your family is in need of assistance in order to acquire additional funds for the provision of food, please visit the State of Michigan website:
     In addition to adding some funds to current Bridge card holder accounts for families with children, the MDHHS has eliminated some requirements and wait times to assist families in qualifying for a food assistance card in a quicker and more inclusive manner. Eligible families do not need to re-apply to receive the additional benefits if they currently have a card.

Wayne Metro CARES Relief and Recovery Services

Wayne Metro has launched Wayne Metro CARES Relief and Recovery Services. Residents may qualify for assistance in the following areas (Programs based on Communities):

Food & Income Support - Distributing food, formula, diapers, wipes & Personal Protection Equipment

  • Water & Energy Assistance 
  • Rent & Mortgage Assistance
  • Property Tax Assistance
  • Emergency Plumbing Repair
  • Funeral Assistance

Robotics Team Needs Help From the Community

Our Crestwood Robotics teams are helping donate needed Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) to hospitals in our area. See the ProtoBots website for details on how you can help.

Legislative Parent Network The Crestwood School District is looking for parents who are willing to serve as volunteers for a Crestwood Legislative Parent Network. The volunteers will receive information regarding school legislation in Lansing and will be asked to represent our district through e-mail communications. Please contact the Superintendent's Office, 313-278-0903, if you are interested.
