CHS Spotlight: This past Monday, before finals, our Link Leaders hosted a Snack ’n’ Study where freshmen showed up in large numbers to ask questions, review content, and feel more confident heading into finals week. Link Leaders did an amazing job tutoring and supporting their peers, and we are incredibly grateful to the many teachers who volunteered their time and classrooms to help make this event such a success.

Only school-issued Chromebooks are permitted for testing, and personal devices such as personal Chromebooks, iPads, or Macbooks are strictly prohibited from being brought to school. All non-testing devices, including cell phones and smartwatches, must be powered down and stored in a zippered pocket of a backpack, which will then be placed at the front of the classroom. Students are not allowed to access personal devices until they have exited the building to go home. Headphones are also prohibited unless they are part of an approved testing accommodation. Finally, students may not leave the classroom during the exam; in the event of an emergency, security will escort the student to the restroom, and under no circumstances can a student leave the room with a backpack or phone.
