The Crestwood Schools and the Wayne County Superintendents will be reviewing Governor Whitmer's Executive Order and we will have more details to share once we have more information. Please see the attached letter that discusses the direction we are heading as a school and community. Again, more details will be shared once we review the Executive Order in its entirety.
Crestwood School District COVID-19 School Closure Update 4-2-2020
Crestwood School District COVID-19 School Closure Update 4-2-2020 Translated
Dear Crestwood Community,
Crestwood Public Schools is dedicated to continually supporting you through this crisis. Food Distribution will resume on Tuesday, April 14, 2020. We will continue to provide families with seven days of breakfast and lunch during our meal pick up times starting at 11 am each Tuesday. Please try to get to the distribution locations of Highview Elementary and Riverside Middle School as close to the start of the pick up time as possible.
If your family is in need of assistance in order to acquire additional funds for the provision of food, please visit the State of Michigan website:
In addition to adding some funds to current Bridge card holder accounts for families with children, the MDHHS has eliminated some requirements and wait times to assist families in qualifying for a food assistance card in a quicker and more inclusive manner. Eligible families do not need to re-apply to receive the additional benefits if they currently have a card.
Stay safe and healthy!
